Hosted Receiver

A hosted receiver is a CeraLive-managed endpoint that accepts your bonded stream. Instead of running your own receiver server, you point your device at the hosted receiver and CeraLive handles the rest.

On the other end, you get a single clean SRT URL you can pull into your local OBS as a media source — or feed into Cloud OBS if you want CeraLive to handle compositing too.

  • Stream without self-hosting — your device bonds its connections and sends to CeraLive’s receiver. No server to set up or maintain on your end.
  • Pull into local OBS — use the pull URL from the dashboard as a media source in your own OBS instance.
  • Combine with Cloud OBS — route the received stream into Cloud OBS to compose scenes and restream from there.
  1. Open the Cloud section in the CeraLive dashboard.
  2. Go to Hosted Receiver and copy your pull URL.
  3. In your device settings, confirm the receiver endpoint is set to your CeraLive account.
  4. Start streaming from your device. The dashboard shows when the receiver is active.

Once the device is streaming, paste the pull URL into OBS as a Media Source to bring the feed into your scene.
